A 15-channel sound work, recorded live and in one take, using smartphone technology. The sound quality reflects the desired immediacy of the performance, as well as evoking a dream-like aesthetic through it’s lo-fi properties.
The composition threads improvised, processed and looping vocal melodies with environmental snippets from rural landscapes. The sounds weave, layer, stretch and mesh conscious and unconscious moments in time.

Through the
layering of multiple sound compositions, the fluidity
of the common areas then become condensed
spaces where the audience, the installation, and
their movement bypass clear meaning.
